Comments: This sweet girl came to us at the beginning of July. She does have a funny walk to her as she doesn't bend her knees so she does look a big like a rabbit. It's very cute. We have had x-rays taken of her knees to ensure there is nothing wrong and she has been diagnosed with bilateral medial luxating patellas which just means that her knee caps have moved inwards to an abnormal position. This is likely a congenital condition meaning she was born that way. The vet does not believe this will cause any issues except she may be at a higher risk of arthritis later in life but for now, she gets around fine, has no pain, and plays, runs and jumps like any other kittens, she just has a cute little walk. Her foster mom has nicknamed her "Weird Knees" but I'm sure her adoptive family will come up with a much better name. She is being fostered in Summerside and has had all 3 sets of vaccines. Adoption fee is $60.
