Comments: This sweet boy came to us from a barn in western PEI. He was very scared and would hiss and put his ears back if you tried to pet him but once you started to stroke his head, he would relax and start purring. With the love and attention from his amazing foster parents, he has come out of his shell quite a bit but he is still learning to trust completely. He is a huge snuggle bug if you allow him to jump up to sit with you once he realizes that he is safe with you. He is still a bit nervous when you bend down to pet him or pick him up and he may run away but considering how far he has come we believe with some time, he will be the most amazing pet. He may not be the best fit for a family with young children but he loves other cats and is being fostered currently with a small dog and loves to play with all of the cats and pup. The perfect home will be with a patient family and a quieter household but other homes will be considered. He is currently being fostered in a home with other cats and a small dog. He has received all three sets of vaccines, has been neutered and received a clean bill of health from the vet and is looking for his forever family. You will not regret giving him a chance!! ONLY INDOOR ONLY HOMES WILL BE CONSIDERED We are taking names of interested pre-approved adopters for 24 hours. (If you are a pre-approved adopter and wish to be considered to adopt this kitten, please refer to instructions in the email you received from the adoption committee when your application was approved. Any other method of contact may not be seen or considered.) If not spoken for after 24 hours the kitten will then be available to the first suitable home once approved. The adoption fee is $100 and pick up must be done in Summerside area by appointment only. The contract and adoption fee must be completed electronically.
